Collaboration in yellow, No. 2

This is the second of the points I got from

Daniel [link] is beautifully preserving and perpetuating the art of flint knapping with his skillfully executed arrowheads, spear points and more. Look for more of his art to be featured in my wraps. This deceivingly simple point must have taken hours to shape. The stone is a manmade fiber optic material that looks a lot like lemon quartz, but the point is hand made by Daniel. I used a very basic prong technique but embellished a little with curls of 22g 14k GF square wire. The point has some optical effects similar to cat's eye which does not show in this pic, but is very cool in sunlight. The point measures about an inch and a quarter, the finished pendant just under 2.5 inches. I've already wrapped one, but I'll have to wait for sunshine to photograph the darker points I got from DAP, this artificial light just does not show them off well enough.
